boostbarnet.org employment and benefit advice (SEE ALSO Training and Employment section) helps to prevent homelessness and supports people with employment/ unemployment issues, financial advice, wellbeing and training.
They take self-referrals and referrals from professionals.

The Later Life Planning Service has advisers trained to help you with:
Social care - e.g. getting some help at home, and how it's funded
Your income - e.g.free benefits checks, help with applying for benefits, and personal grants for essential items.
Your home - e.g. information on staying warm at home, home adaptations and how to get help from your gas and electricity provider.
Legal issues - e.g. provide information about Wills, Power of Attorney, and how to deal with an estate. (They canβt assist with filling in legal forms, setting up Wills and Power of Attorney and giving legal advice.)
