Facebook post 4th July 2022

This week we were busy, supporting 114 families including growing numbers of refugees from Ukraine 🇺🇦

This Saturday coming, we want to be able to offer deoderant to every household which means we need around 120. Sprays are prefered, as family members can share more easily.

We share items such as tins of meat and pulses by offering one for every two people in a house. This means we need 200 packs of these every week because of the large number of people we are helping.

🆘 If you haven't donated to us for a while or ever before, it would be wonderful to receive items from you, if you are able.

💙💜 Donating items to your local foodbank ensures that your items are used to help people in need in your area.

This weeks much needed items are:

- tinned meat, such as pies, chilli con carne and corned beef

- toilet roll

- tinned or dried pulses

- deodorant, sprays prefered as households can share more easly

- empty egg boxes for 12 eggs

🛒 We will be at the Foodbank on Friday between 12-3pm, but drop off can be arranged by appointment also. We can be found in the hall behind St Mary's 279 High Road East Finchley N2 8HG.

💳To support us with a financial donation, please follow the link below to our online giving page. We purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs and cheese as well as standard items we are short of for the coming week.

🙏 A BIG THANK YOU to those who support us with donations of food and finance, your donations really do make a difference to someone else.
