Facebook post 28th March 2022

☀️This Saturday was again very busy at Finchley Foodbank, with 419 individuals supported with three days of food. We welcomed 14 new households to the foodbank. Everyone was glad of the good weather, especially as we know that it will turn colder this week.

🙏Thank you for the donations we received last week. Every item donated really does make a difference to someone else in the community. We have recently had to re-evaluate the amount of items we can share with those visiting us for food support as numbers seeking support is rising and expected to continue to rise in the coming months.

💙💜Donating items to your local foodbank ensures that your items are used to help people in need in your area.💙💜

This weeks much needed items are:

- washing tablets/capsules

- tinned tomatoes

- crackers/crispbreads etc

- soap

🛒 We will be at the Foodbank on Friday between 12-3pm, but drop off can be arranged by appointment also.

💳To support us with a financial donation, please follow the link below to our online giving page. We purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs and cheese as well as items we are short of for the coming week.

🙏 A BIG THANK YOU to those who support us with donations of food and finance. https://sponsorme.charitiestrust.org/event/97b68db3-2bff-4853-a337-a48fa0009d3c
