On Saturday we were busy at Finchley Foodbank, supporting almost 350 individuals with three days of food, along with fresh fruit & vegatables, eggs, bread and cheese.

Numbers were higher than the last few months, as the impact of the withdrawal of the additional £20 a week in Universal Credit payments started to be felt by people.

We also welcomed 9 new households to Finchley Foodbank.

This week we are particularly short of:

- soap

- small jars of coffee

- crackers

- 500g bags of sugar

Alternatively you can make a monetary donation through our online giving page https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity-web/charity/displayCharityCampaignPage.action?charityCampaignUrl=Finchleyfoodbank which we use to supplement our packages with eggs, fresh fruit & vegetables and cheese.
