Facebook post 21st March 2022

☀️We hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring sunshine and taking advantage of free vitamin D.

⬇️Donations to Finchley Foodbank have decreased noticeably this year, so we are looking for new collection points in schools, places of worship, work places, streets and supermarkets. If you would like to set up a collection point, please contact us at finchleyfoodbank@gmail.com or by messager for futher information.

🎖️This is also a perfect way to help us whilst completing your Duke of Edinburgh volunteering section.

💙💜Donating items to your local foodbank ensures that your items are used to help people in need in your area.💙💜

This weeks much needed items are:

- tinned tuna/sardines

- tinned veg, particularly sweetcorn

- rice

- deodorant, sprays preferred as they can be shared

🛒 We will be at the Foodbank on Friday between 12-3pm, but drop off can be arranged by appointment also.

💳To support us with a financial donation, please follow the link below to our online giving page. We purchase fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs and cheese as well as items we are short of for the coming week.

🙏 A BIG THANK YOU to those who support us with donations of food and finance. https://sponsorme.charitiestrust.org/event/97b68db3-2bff-4853-a337-a48fa0009d3c
