This week we welcomed 11 new families to Finchley Foodbank.
Families are feeling the effect of the withdrawal of the additional £20 being withdrawn from universal credit and our numbers are increasing rapidly. This week we supported 122 households and over 350 people in total for the first time in a number of months
This weeks much needed items are:
- tinned vegetables, particularly sweetcorn
- washing tablets/capsules
- tinned tomatoes
- deodorant, sprays preferred, so they can be shared.
🎅Last year, because of the generous donations we received from our supporters, we were able to provide all children who we supported over the Christmas period, with a toy shop voucher to the value of £15. The children were excited to be able to choose their own toys & the adults were overjoyed to receive such a wonderful gift.🎅
🎁If you would like to support us this year with our Christams toy voucher appeal, please contact us at finchleyfoodbank@gmail.com or by Facebook messanger for the bank transfer details. Alternatively, follow the link below to our Just Giving page (Please add a note to say the money is intended for the toy voucher appeal, so we can allocate it to the appeal)🎁
We can't THANK YOU ENOUGH for the support you give us, particularly at Christmas.
