Facebook post 15th November 2021

This week we welcomed 11 new families to Finchley Foodbank.

Families are feeling the effect of the withdrawal of the additional £20 being withdrawn from universal credit and our numbers are increasing rapidly. This week we supported 122 households and over 350 people in total for the first time in a number of months

This weeks much needed items are:

- tinned vegetables, particularly sweetcorn

- washing tablets/capsules

- tinned tomatoes

- deodorant, sprays preferred, so they can be shared.

🎅Last year, because of the generous donations we received from our supporters, we were able to provide all children who we supported over the Christmas period, with a toy shop voucher to the value of £15. The children were excited to be able to choose their own toys & the adults were overjoyed to receive such a wonderful gift.🎅

🎁If you would like to support us this year with our Christams toy voucher appeal, please contact us at or by Facebook messanger for the bank transfer details. Alternatively, follow the link below to our Just Giving page (Please add a note to say the money is intended for the toy voucher appeal, so we can allocate it to the appeal)🎁

We can't THANK YOU ENOUGH for the support you give us, particularly at Christmas.
