‘Listening to our clients’ - Finchley Foodbank publishes survey findings

In September 2026 we surveyed our clients (the people using our foodbank) to help us better understand their needs.

We are delighted that the results showed that people have a positive experience attending our food sessions, with 80% of people who responded saying they were happy with the range of items on offer. Almost everyone feels they are always treated fairly and with respect by the foodbank staff and volunteers.

You can read the full report on the survey and findings here and the summary for clients here. We are using the findings to inform our priorities for 2026-2028, including

  • Reviewing the items we stock to best meet clients needs

  • Increasing access to information and support for clients including building our own expertise and encouraging more external support organisations to attend our client sessions

  • Encouraging our clients to complete a benefits checker to make sure they are receiving what they are entitled to

  • Continuing to encourage clients to seek support to help them get online

A BIG thank you to the people who responded!
